3/8" HRPO, laser cut.  It should be a lot harder to warp one of these than the stock flange.  The stock flange is about half as thick and is typically warped by years of heat and over tightening, trying to get a good seal. 

Any decent exhaust shop should be able to fabricate a new down pipe if you give them this to start with.
