Brake Bracket Build

YouTube Playlist

I've been trying to keep the vids like this pretty short since they're basically just an update for those guys waiting for me to finish them.

I think when I buy another countersink, I'll get one with at least 2 flutes.  This one moves all over the place if you don't have the part held tight.
I think I got all the big holes drilled now.  Still tons of smaller ones left to do.  After that, I can start welding brackets together! :)
With the brackets drilled, I could do the mockup and measuring for the spacers and adapters.  This will probably get done at least one more time before building the welding jig.
I picked up the brackets from the laser cutter. Now I need to drill the holes to their final dimension and check the plate for warpage.

I dropped the dual piston caliper option and decided to go with just the single piston, but I still wanted to tweak the original design.  This is some basic fabrication work to get the final dimensions and design for the bracket.  I needed to prove that I had the CAD work correct before sending it off to the laser cutter.
These parts are for a Datsun truck with kingpins.
