Website redesign underway!

Hey everyone, Andy here!

I am Mike's son and have started to give him a hand with his BlueHands endeavors!  I am super excited to be helping and can't wait to see how it all goes!  I am mostly being put in charge of handling most of the internet presence, including this page!

This front page will probably not stay a blog page forever, but it seemed like a good idea to be able to pass along the updates to the site as they happen.  The updates may not always be wordy, but even if I'm able to be able to just say "added X videos" or whatever, then anyone who is checking can know what to check out without jumping randomly all over the site.  Plus then I don't have to also tell my dad, saving me some time there!

Anyways, blah blah blah.  The big thing right now is I got a logo up at the top there and some basic page layouts going.  The biggest chunk of video right now is under Videos->Automotive->Suspension->Ball Joint Mod.  We have links to each video, but I have also added them all to a playlist on the YouTube Channel so you don't have to hunt and peck to find them all if you are interested in watching through them all!

Lots more planned, just not so much time.  Hoping to get some more done tomorrow, but we will see!

Feel free to leave comments or suggestions!   I am certainly not even close to pro at this, but it's fun to fiddle around with, and if it helps my dad out, all the better!

Check back soon!
Andy

Thanks Javin! I didn't even see there was a place I had to approve comments on here, so I am finally seeing this, 4 days later! Will definitely let you know if anything comes up!

I have watched several of the you tube videos, seen your parts & posts on Ratsun, added you to my Facebook friends, etc. But somehow missed that you had your own website! I have 3 Datsuns, so you know I'm going to need stuff. I'm currently working on my '72 521 . I'm thinking of converting to the 620 master cylinder & booster, but keeping the drum brakes so I don't have to change wheels. I have slot mags, & I really like how they make my truck look. Any advice? Can I order parts from you here, or is there another site? Thanks! - Loren.

Hi Loren,
All the parts I do are on my other site.... www.bluehandsinc.com

When this came in as a blog comment, I almost deleted it....until I read it. lol

I don't think the booster will fit without some kind of modification. Email me or pm via ratsun if it does work. I think the spacing between the brake and clutch m/c's was different on the 620. You can more easily, upgrade to a dual circuit 620 m/c without a booster if only for the safety aspect. A pwr booster mod for the 521 is on the list of stuff I'd like to get to....someday! I'm more than a bit buried right now. :)

I'm pretty sure that any of the disc upgrades will let you keep your slots. If they're 14" slots, they probably won't fit under the others, but they will fit on mine.

There's a manual tab on the other site...you can download the factory manuals there(free).

Thanks for the sub and friending. If you want to waste a few hours, google mklotz70 lol!!! I'm betting it will pull up some stuff you haven't seen yet :)
Mike
